1. Where is Archer & Peyton based?
Archer & Peyton Ltd is a UK Registered Company based in London
2. Where are your socks made?
All of our socks are produced in Italy by small family owned factories. We have relationships with each of them and pride ourselves on knowing the full supply chain of our socks.
3. If your socks are made in Italy, why do you say you use Egyptian cotton?
Cotton is grown in a variety of key markets internationally, Egypt being one of the top growers for ELS or Extra Long Staple cotton, considered one of the best quality cottons in the world. Once the cotton is harvested (by hand), it needs to be transformed into yarn which in turn becomes your sock. All of our suppliers source from Italian yarn producers who have factories both in Egypt where the cotton is harvested and in Italy where they work the raw cotton into thread and dye them accordingly.
4. Why do some of your socks have lycra, polyamide or elastic in them? Does this make them inferior?
No it is a factor of function. Whilst we do sell some 100% Egyptian cotton socks, they are generally only those that are woven on a double cylinder machine meaning that the stretch comes from the weave. With any other socks, and specifically those with designs, they are woven on a single cylinder machine which doesn't supply the necessary stretch to fit to your feet. Hence polyamide, lycra or elastane is used to provide the stretch, comfort, and reinforcement in the heel and toe. Our producers use the highest quality of these threads as well to ensure there is no quality compromise.
5. Do you have a store?
We currently do not have a permanent retail space however we do from time to time exhibit at fairs, events, and pop-up spaces.
6. Do your socks ever go on sale?
We generally do not put our socks on sale. Instead we like to offer discounts and offers to our loyal customers to thank them for their ongoing business. If you would like to be informed of offers please sign up to our mailing list.

9. Do you ship internationally?

International shipping rates vary by country and are generally free over £100 orders (we often do promotions below this amount so check back often). Our goods are shipped Ex Duty - you will be responsible for any Import Duties applied to your purchase. We advise you speak to your local customs official to confirm what if any fees will be applicable before placing your order.
10. What is your exchange and return policy?
We are here to serve you and if you aren't happy with our product please contact us at email@example.com and we will endeavour to exchange the product or refund you dependent on the circumstances. Full details of our return policy can be found in our Terms and Conditions
11. How are your socks sized?
We don't believe "One Size" truly fits all and for that reason we have tried to provide a range of sizing to suit all feet. You will notice that some of our socks have a wider range of sizes whilst others are narrower. This is dependent on the amount of lycra/elastane utilised in each blend:
For our two-size socks we size as follows:
Sock size UK 7-8.5 (EU 39-42)
Socks size UK 9-11.5 (EU 43-46)
For our Mercerised Cotton Socks
Sock Size UK 7-8 (EU 41-42) (US 7-8)
Sock Size UK 9 (EU 43-44) (US 9-10)
Sock Size 10-11.5 (EU 45-46) (US 10-11)
If you are unsure of what size to order, we would be happy to help you, please contact us and we will get in touch within 24 hours.
